In the month of August, GPW announced the recipients of the 2023 SFV grants. A total of 23 coordinators from 8 countries were awarded the grants towards projects that strengthen families and promote the culture of family volunteering. The participants hailed from the following countries: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kenya Malawi, Nepal, Nigeria, Philippines and Uganda.
SFV grants empower change makers, nurture a culture of service, and promote peace through family volunteering. It is an effort of GPW to empower the Sunshine Family Coordinators, enabling them to initiate community service projects that strengthen families, address local issues, and contribute to a more peaceful world. The SFV clubs that received the grants include:
