In May, a second wave of COVID19 struck the South Asia region. Lockdowns were instated to curb the rate of infection. Many families, especially those of migrant workers, were hard hit as certain sectors of the economy were shut down. Bambi and her family began sharing rice with families. This expanded to a community wide effort of families sharing food with other families.
