On July 30th, in commemoration of International Friendship Day, Sunshine Family Volunteers (SFV) coordinators across the globe celebrated in their own unique ways, surrounded by family and friends. Each coordinator took the opportunity to reflect on the importance of friendship, not just in their personal lives but also in their volunteer work. Among other activities, coordinators organized small gatherings with family and friends, and shared stories of the friendships they have has built through volunteering. The emphasis was on the value of collaboration and mutual support in strengthening community bonds.
In each country, these celebrations were marked by a deep sense of gratitude and connection. The coordinators, though physically apart, were united by their shared mission to promote the values of friendship and community. By celebrating in their own locales, they highlighted the universal nature of these values, showing that no matter where one is in the world, the bonds of friendship can be nurtured and cherished.
