Argentina was a very important target for the development of the work of Global Peace Women. Psic. Nibia Pizzo, President of the Uruguay chapter of GPW and Marilyn Perales of GPW-Paraguay on behalf of Ms. Jae Soon Cristina Field, GPW Regional Director for Latin America, took the responsibility of organizing the second Conference in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, focused on a round table discussion with prominent women of the Argentinean society that was transmitted via zoom and Facebook to the rest of Latin America and Europe.
National Congressman Juan Obligo donated the headquarters of the prominent Fundación Nuevas Generaciones, a think tank that brings together academics from different fields.
With Global Peace Women as organizer and with the sponsorship of Legacy to the Americas and the New Generations Foundation, the second Conference on "Foundations for Cooperation and Peace: Family,Education, Values and Ethical Virtues" was held on September 20, with the welcoming address by Psic. Nibia Pizzo.

Continental Women's Committee for Global Peace Women was formed by Beatriz Munhoz (Brazil), Andrea Ojeda (Chile), Patricia Alrringo (Chile), Paola Onzaga (Colombia), Elena Larrinaga (Cuba), Dunia de Guzmán (Ecuador), Marylin Perales (Paraguay), coordinated by Nibia Pizzo (Global Peace Women Uruguay President).
The most important success is to have brought women leaders in Argentina into our work and to have opened doors to other foundations and to the Argentine political leadership through the support of legislators.
