Little acts of conscious kindness go a long way in helping those in need and contributing to peaceful families and society. In their ongoing community outreach program, “Solitary Hands”, GPW Paraguay and partners donated food and clothes to families and vulnerable children through Mary Mother of the Poor Foundation and local visitations.
In collaboration with several schools in the municipality and Mary Mother of the Poor, GPW Paraguay organized a recreation day with 352,promoting important values like compassion, gratitude, tolerance, respect and responsibility.
In northern Asuncion, GPW Paraguay visited families residing in San Antonio, San Jorge, San Carlos, San Francisco, and Vinas Cue, providing clothes and non-perishable foods such as rice, sugar, noodles, and oil. One of the program's beneficiaries was a Venezuelan who had been having a tough time in Paraguay.
The donations are a part of GPW Paraguay's commitment to‘ Solidarity Hands’, an effort to support vulnerable families with assistance, supplies, and necessary support. Last year, the Paraguay chapter reached out to families affected by the pandemic in Antonio and Mariano Roque Alonso.
