On 13th March 2023, Global Peace Women Philippines Sunshine Family Volunteers and Global Peace Foundation Philippines reached out to families that had been affected by a fire tragedy recently at Looc, Cardona Rizal. 15 families had lost their homes and belongings during the incident.
During the outreach initiative dubbed “Kindness to community through family service”, the families received a ‘Kindness Bag’ consisting of rice, groceries, sweets & cookies for kids, and a water container with faucet. Additionally, they also received pre-loved clothes and some kitchen utensils. We are thankful to the GPW and GPF teams and all the donors for their kindness and generosity to those in need in this community.
